We look forward to every wedding we film, the day itself is always fun and enjoyable. But some edits can become a challenge when creating a narrative. When we met with Brooke and Chris we was delighted when the first thing they said was they wanted a short form 15 minute film.
Straight away we knew what style they envisioned. We couldn't wait to get in behind the desk armed with a cup of tea, multiple biscuits, and create a action packed memory of their day.
Some worries did cross our mind. They did ensure us that the guests would enable this to be a possibility, due to their party attitude. However they did not mention that they were party animals! From the start of the day the atmosphere was amazing, the boys began in the pub and soon joined the arrival of guests, who matched the buzz. The girls had a chilled morning sipping prosecco, old school anthems blasting, in a charming cottage style room.
The moment Brooke & Chris locked eyes down the isle, you could tell how excited they were for this day to be finally here. As Chris mentioned in his speech, Brooke had (masterfully) caught the bouquet multiple times, but years past before the day was finally upon them.
The day continued as it started, and guests were dancing from the drinks reception through into the night. The energy was a joy to capture and this comes across in there film in a big way.
Here is how their day unfolded:
